Therapeutic Touch®

This is an energy-based healing modality that focuses on clearing, balancing, and directing the body's energy field to support physical, emotional, and mental well-being.

Therapeutic Touch® was developed in the early 1970s by Dolores Krieger, Ph.D., R.N. (Professor Emerita of New York University) and her mentor, Dora Kunz. This transformative practice is now embraced by thousands of healthcare professionals, holistic health practitioners, and individuals in 75 countries worldwide. It is taught in numerous graduate and undergraduate nursing programs at colleges and universities across the globe.

Therapeutic Touch® is a scientifically grounded practice, supported by at least 15 doctoral dissertations, post-doctoral studies, and countless master’s theses. The U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) has funded research into its efficacy, further validating its credibility and effectiveness.

Therapeutic Touch® Practitioner Training

All BCTTNS practitioners and teachers are trained in the Krieger-Kunz method of Therapeutic Touch®, ensuring that the healing process is rooted in compassion, intention, and a deep understanding of the energy system.
